It's been shopped around for at least a year. It was originally called "Lady Killers," but thanks to the Coen Bros.' remake of the Sir Alec Guinness classic "The Ladykillers" earlier this year, the title obviously had to be changed.
According to the IDMB (click "Release Dates"), it'll be out Sept. 17. The
official site's partially up.
The producers are distributing the film themselves--I have a feeling it'll be on DVD by Christmas. [Sarcasm Detector]What a wonderful career move for Nikki.[SD]
