International versions of Lingo
« on: July 14, 2003, 05:18:52 AM »
On the second episode of Naturally Stoned, they showed small clips of Lingo from other countries including a weird Israeli one with transvestite contestants. GSN did the same last year with Russian Roulette's \"Drop 'Heard Round the World\" marathon.

I know Lingo's such a hit in Europe (even the Arab world), but there could be Australian, British, Russian, Czech, South African, Indian, Portugese, even Japanese versions popping up soon. I for one would LOVE to see the Japanese Lingo!!

Yeah, and that \"some German-like language\" clip? It was the French-Canadian version.

Ah, but do the intellectuals of France think of Québecois as actually being French?  :p
