Anitra Ford movie resurfacing on cable...

For those who remember former TPIR model Anitra Ford from the early days of the show, The Movie Channel has been recently playing her 'cult classic', "Invasion of the Bee Girls" which was made around 1973 (It may still be re-playing on one of their channels or Showtime's -- check your local listings)

I missed the first 30 minuites or so (Tivo-ed the rest), but this sci-fi movies was....well....very interesting.

Anitra plays a Doctor by the name of Susan Harris, who heads up this group of ladies with bee-like qualities.  This movie would probably also qualify as 'soft porn'.  I'll leave it as that!

If anyone else has seen this movie, I'd be interested in hearing your takes on the movie.

A honey of a film that created a loud buzz at the time, but was stung by the critics. Co-star William Smith appeared on "Celebrity Sweepstakes" one time that I remember.  Another memorable Anitra appearance was in "The Longest Yard," which starred one of the producers of "Win, Lose or Draw," and one of the hosts of "On Your Account."
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

Would that be Chuck Woolery or Pat Sajak?

No, neither messrs Woolery or Sajak. The OYA host in the movie was Eddie Albert.  "On Your Account" was on in 1953, around the same era of the Todd Russell version of "Wheel of Fortune."

The producer of WLOD who appeared in 'The Longest Yard' was Burt Reynolds.  He co-created the game with Bert Convy and Richard Kline.

Reynolds will also appear in the comic remake with Adam Sandler.

This has been another installment of Things Everybody Already Knows.
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.
Stay tuned for all the obsessive-compulsive fun of Words Have Meanings.

Ya know, maybe they could get Rolf B. to do a cameo as a place kicker.

Or we can invoke the Norm MacDonald line from SNL:  "Yet another ground-breaking story from the [medical] journal DUH."

Classic stuff.  :)
