The Total Display Fonts on Jeopardy!
« on: September 26, 2004, 03:08:47 PM »
We all know in total displays, the font used to display the returning champ's total was Enchanted from the debut of the gridding set in 1991 to the 12th Season finale in 1996, but here are the 3 font questions

1)What was the font that was used to display the returning champ's total from 1984-91?

2)What was the font that used to display the returning champ's total from 1997-2002?

3)What was the font that displayed their totals in the '96-'97 season?

Hint: The question for #2 was also used on Shop 'Til You Drop's clock and closing credits and also used on the children's version of the show which was also Wheel 2000's sister show, JEP!

OK, usually I think you are just asking for help on stuff, but are you actually quizzing us on the font of the stuff.  Go outside in the sun, you won't turn into dust.

I think it was just a bold form of Helvetica, same thing Wheel used throughout the 80s, and no Zach, I don't care as to what years Wheel used the font.

Autumn I believe.

"They're both Norman Jewison movies, Troy, but we did think of one Jew more famous than Tevye."

Now celebrating his 22nd season on GSF!

Not to confuse anyone, but Enchanted is a software company's knockoff of a font called Korinna. Similarly, "Autumn's" real name is Optima.

Heavy copyright stuff involved in font renaming. I'll explain off-forum if you've got nothing better to do. Meantime, do continue...
