I was eight years old when WML went off the air. I always thought than being on WML must have been the best job in television. Here were friends and colleagues getting together on Sunday night, dressed to the nines and playing a parlor game. They also got paid to do this. In my young mind I thought, "I coud do that."
They were bright, sophisticated and most of all, enjoyed being each other's company. That's what they brought across on Sunday nights. If that wasn't the case, then they were the best actors on Planet Earth and deserve every accoloade anyway.
It was great fun seeing the last show. I'm looking forward to the beginning nest week.
