Watching Cullen BB on GSN right now...

Gold Run...

Player selects QV to win the $5,000...

Question asked...

Player says "FG" (meaning wants to pick another hex but DOESNT say PASS)

Before Cullen asks FG the player says "OH I KNOW THAT ONE"

Cullen says "OK YOU WANNA GO FOR IT!?"

Player says "QUEEN VICTORIA" and wins $5,000!

Should he have been allowed to answer that since he technically passed or do you think Bill made a boo-boo and the show just let it go?

Discuss...

John

I think the show made the right call, since Bill did not begin reading the next question, the contestant did not gain any advantage. Bill explained it as such immediately afterward.

It's not like it was an unfair disadvantage against another player/team. No harm done.
