Since the Cullen Blockbusters is already taken, I'll have to settle for its German version, Super Grips -- das schnelle Spiel für helle Köpfer!

[quote name=\'Ian Wallis\' date=\'Oct 13 2004, 08:10 AM\']The thread about the 1975 TVGuide got me thinking:  if you could go back in time, and record a complete library of just one game show, which would it be?

It's amazing how many people that posted in this thread don't understand the concept of "One".

If I could have any show, I think I'd select Cross-Wits.

I'll claim dibs on Hit Man since Whew! has already been claimed.

I'll go with Alex Trebek's "Pitfall".  I just couldn't get enough of those kights that flashed on the bridge hoping I could spot the 3 pirfalls before the contestant hits them.

All those wacky Narz 'Concentration' episodes. Mine.
Wonder if I can get the radio rights? ;-)

Since Concentration and Jeopardy have been taken, drat, I'll settle for GE College Bowl, both the Allen Ludden and Robert Earle versions, which are essentially, the same run.

Odd choice, I know, but I'd have to go w/Pitfall.

Geeze. You must be that crazy to pick up all 26 episodes. I only got the one, and I nearly fell laughing. :-p

I was 9 years old when I taped them; not as smart as I am now. And I never traded for any of them -- I taped them all from FAM in 1994/1995.

Will someone let me take Bill Cullen's Pyramid?  If not, I'd settle for either Play the Percentages or Pass the Buck.
Protecting idiots from themselves just leads to more idiots.

[quote name=\'TV Favorites\' date=\'Oct 13 2004, 11:38 AM\']I'd have to go with Price is Right.  Then, I'd finally get to see the 3 "lost" pricing games as well as all the episodes Bob banned from rerunning due to furs.

I would have to agree with you. I do not tape shows per say (unless I am on the show or a friend is on it) but this would be the show to tape if I did.

Tim :-)

Again, as I told Adam, only if you let me borrow some episodes now and then.
The Pass The Buck episodes, on the other hand, you can keep.
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.
Stay tuned for all the obsessive-compulsive fun of Words Have Meanings.

I'm surprised that nobody's called Jeopardy!...

(Yes, that means I am calling it.)
