Hmm, I didn't think you had enough money left to develop an implant chip after buying ad time on Coupling last fall.  A word of advice: don't waste your time buying spots during life as we know it tonight.  I'd be better off waiting for Celebrity Blackjack 2. :-)

Yeah, I'm sure it's been noticable since then too but I did not pay attention.

On today's, it's clear that the graphics were changed for this and that  Johnny's audio is being spliced. Granted, Ken would not shake his head a full second after the total has been said in completion.

But then again, I'm not him.

I think it's partly that people are getting tired of Ken.  (And probably that the money is the bigger issue here...)
