Hoosier Millionaire makes more changes
« on: November 01, 2004, 09:38:33 AM »
The Hoosier Lottery has made some changes on Hoosier Millionaire, according to a press release sent out last week.

First, announcer Tony Lamont has become the show's new co-host, replacing the departed Cody Stark. Lamont made his debut as host Oct. 23.  Catt Sadler remains.

Secondly, the Lottery has moved the show's studio to IMS Productions, the video arm of Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  Finally, the show is no longer being taped weekly. Two weeks' worth of shows are now taped in one day; according to the lottery, they can be better edited - and by going to a two-show taping a day,  it's also a cost-cutting move, as well.

The current tournament format is not being altered.

Not surprising -- the Multi-State Lottery Corporation would tape 12 Powerball Instant Millionaire shows at a time over a two-day period while it was being produced in Vegas, and the Ohio Lottery currently tapes four Cash Explosion Double Play shows per session.
