It's SEASON TWO Lingo! (daa da dum dum)

According to reliable sources, it was on yesterday as well.  (Did somebody say "music license"?)

Yes... it seems that GSN is going back in time for a number of originals. Whammy! season 1 started yesterday, and FoF seemed like an early episode.

  • Just leave the set; that’d be terrific.

A mistake, in my opinion.  While it wasn't obvious to the common viewer before; I think this makes it painfully obvious that reruns are being shown.

From a (Mitsubishi?) to a Gem Car?  Yikes.

I was actually thinking that in the case of Lingo, maybe some people who didn't know better might actually think it's a new season.

(Pictures Charles Manson as depicted on Family Guy): "If I didn't see it, it's NEW TO ME!"
I'm a pacifist, and even I would like to see a little more action.

And saying, "Hey, Chuck's put on a little weight". And "At last they finally got rid of that unnecessary piece of eye candy".
Did I just say "unnecessary eye candy"? Senility has struck!

I think what's obvious to us may not be nearly as obvious to the casual viewer.  Also, there are many examples of new seasons (Hollywood Squares) or entirely new series (Scrabble) where you saw the payouts decrease from where they had been before.

Call it "less money syndrome".
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.
