Sorry to go off topic...but who else saw this subject line and wondered how presidential campaign messages from '92 timewarped their way onto this board? :-)
It's a well-known fact that Lincoln loved mayonnaise!

Another ObGameShow: The host of the Audition segments is Mark Kriski, who hosted one of the NPiR '94 pilots.

Wow, Ross is kicking some serious ass in the voting. Just voted myself, and he's got 86.2 of the votes.

For those of us on the East, what would Ross win if he goes all the way?

Essentially, he'd be taking a weather job in the #2 market away from a more qualified meteorologist.

Sorry, I know that sounds snarky, and I'm sure Ross King is a fabulously nice guy, and I know that SoCal weather isn't exactly a difficult science, but this contest stinks. It puts a huge face on the sorry state of Local News broadcasting these days....

But more power to him if he wins, and it gives him good exposure in Los Angeles.

I'll gently point out that this is the same market which employs Jillian Barbarie and Lisa Guerrero. It was dead a long time ago. :)

Hey, he can come to Dallas and work for Fox 4 or WFAA 8.  They don't care either.

A recent weatherbabe arrival (from Miami, I think) to CBS 2/KCAL 9 blocks the numbers on the map when she turns to point. I'm amazed Jillian Barbarie still has a job; you know being kicked off 'Good Day Live' and all...

As for Ross King, he won't win; KTLA probably will 'rework' the numbers (ala GSN's 'Feast of Favorites') and get a woman to win.

Happy Voting!

Game show pilot + pilot host = green light for series?

(Combination Lock + Ross King = Green Light?)

Match Game + Charlene Tilton <> Green Light. See how that works?

That explains why every city she points to is going to be 36.

See, I can make fun of other stations.
