Something from K.O's past

Here's something I got from that same radio newsgroup:

WYSL 1400 AM - BUFFALO DJ's:
Jack Sheridan     6:00 AM
Jack Evans         9:00 AM
George Hamberger   12:00 NN
Jim Bradley       3:00 PM
Kevin O'Connell   6:00 PM
Lee Clayton       10:00 PM
Roger Christian   2:00 AM (either this is the same guy who worked in Los Angeles for many years and also wrote many Beach Boys and Jan & Dean songs, or it isn't.)
Rick Hopkins       Weekends

Unless some of you knew about this all along, you can add Kevin's name to that long list of disc jockeys who became game show hosts (and vice versa).

Cordially,
Tammy Warner--the 'Sarah Kennedy of the Big Board!'
In Loving Memory: Dolores "Roxanne" Rosedale (1929-2024) & Peter Marshall (1926-2024)

She's 100% correct that either he is or he isn't. :-)  But a 93KHJ airheck at reelradio.com confirms that it's the same Roger Christian.

There's a Roger Christian that works as a DJ for WTSS 102.5 Buffalo, and has been there since 1976.  From pictures I've seen of him, he's probably in his early 50s, so I doubt that its the same person.

Considering K.O.'s many years doing weather in Buffalo, you are probably right--it is the one and the same.

It's the same deal w/former Face the Music announcer Dave Williams...there's another DW on the radio circuit, so he now bills himself as "Dave Sebastian Williams".
