While we're on the subject of WOF cues, I've got a excellent quality version of the 1989 Changing Keys theme (it's actually the closing theme, not the opening theme that's on 80stvthemes.com, although you can copy and paste the portion between 1:17 and 1:30 to create the opening theme) right here:

"Excellent" quality? My friend, that is OUTSTANDING! Where'd you dig up this gem, seriously! I wrote to Mort Lindsey a while back and he said he lost all the tapes with those '89 cues, not to mention the main theme. This is TERRIFIC! I can't say thank you enough, Casey, great find! Thanks for sharing! :D

There are three things I've learned never to discuss with people: Religion, politics, and the proper wrapping of microphone cables.

For my money, the only time "Changing Keys" ever really sounded like a good game show theme.

Good stuff, Casey. Thanks for sharing the wealth! :)

Yahooey!

After listening to the '89 theme from 80stvthemes.com, I HATED this version. Thanks for helping me see the error of my ways!

While we're all sharing WOF cues, here are some prize cues I have from that era.  Since I don't know much about this area, I'm not sure if these are really common or not.  They're Windows Media files, and all are around 1 minute each.

Cue #1
Cue #2
Cue #3
Cue #4
Cue #5
Cue #6

Those are some good files as well. :D Though, IIRC, "Cue #3" is part of "Strutting on Sunset" which is available at 80stvthemes. Still, good post as well. Thanks. :)

Does anyone else have any "Wheel of Fortune" cues to share with the class?

Too bad 4 and 6 cut off... I've never heard either of those before in the clear.

Those cues can actually be found on the Sega CD version of WoF, if you pop it into an audio player...bought it in 94, and it was the first clean GS music I ever found in those pre-internet days, even if most of them were edited (only the 89-92 main theme, as posted here, ran its full length, IIRC).

I remember that last cue, Cue 6! Been forever since I've heard it, I have all the other ones you posted. Nice finds, vgmaster!

Thanks for the musical flashback.
Does anyone know if the piece they commonly played for jewelry, fine china, etc. has a title?
