Ah, yes. Kermin attempted to explain this to Alex during one of the tapings I attended. It was a long, meandering explanation that probably one person (and that person was not I, even though I program computers for a living) in the audience understood. Alex said the shows had been running long that day; I wouldn't be surprised if this explanation gets reduced or left entirely on the cutting room floor.
