A couple of facts which may interest some people in the US regarding Jeff Gross.

He previously appeared as a Fastest Finger player in 2000 on the same night
Judith Keppel won £1 Million, declaring the first winner on the original UK
version. Although there was only one FFF question on that night he failed to
get on but he saw the whole event.

Secondly less than twelve months later he also appeared in Fastest Finger in
September 2001 but this time he witnessed Charles Ingram pocket the false £1
Million when the first FFF question came up he was beaten by eight tenths of a second by none other than Tecwen Whittock!

So he has witnessed three MDQs in-studio. For somebody who doesn't work for the show or the network, that must be somewhat of a conversation piece indeed. :-)

Well, one MDQ, but two MPQ's (Million-Pound Questions, as Travis mentioned the UK version).

And I got to witness the *beginning* of Jeff Gross' run in person, since he came out near the end of our second show in the early session on Sept. 17.  If I had gotten into the later session instead, I would've seen him facing the million dollar question--and I might've gotten a contestant interviewer I could've charmed more than the guy who interviewed me and decided I wasn't quite right for "WWTBAM."  Oh well.
