I don't know if this was brought up, now that Weird Al has horned his way into this thread (or should I say accordioned), but Ken has signed an endorsement deal with Microsoft for their Encarta electronic encyclopedia.

I dunno...while in central PA 3 yrs ago, I chanced upon an 80s station that played "People Who Died" by the Jim Carroll Band and "Don't You (Forget About Me)" by Simple Minds...those didn't strike me as Top 20 hits.

People WHo Died did not crack the Hot 100, but it's Saturday detention for forgetting Don't You(Forget About Me) hit #1 in 1985 for SImple Minds in the wake of the song being a part of the Breakfast Club soundtrack.
