[quote name=\'TunaHead\' date=\'Dec 6 2004, 09:50 AM\']Question: Does Lange NTT even exist?

If you're talking about the episodes, yes they do exist, Sandy Frank has them, and would have taken them to GSN but was not able to, apparently due to music clearances expiring since 1996, the last time that version of Tune aired in reruns(on FAM). I suspect that's why we haven't seen that or the other perennial Sandy Frank show, Face the Music, in reruns in nearly a decade since. None of the themes from the 1984-85 Tune have hit the trading circuit AFAIK, but a lot of episodes of the show exist on the trading circuit.

Zach, I meant the cues/themes... I know the shows exist, cause I remember them from USA... But I've never seen the cues, or for that matter, any of the Sandy Frank cues..

I saw that I had a cue marked with the name, but what I have is the cue recorded directly from FAM since it has Charlie O's (or someone remarkably sounding like him) doing a voiceover promoting other shows and then LMAD.

Here's the themes I'd like to hear:

The Newlywed Game (1966-73 ABC Daytime version)
Whipping Cream (Batchelor Theme from The Dating Game)

When I think of more, I'll update this thread. Ciao! ;)

Yeah, that's the one I've got that's been floating around for some time... It isn't Charlie O.. I'm trying to think who it was though...

I recall Jerry "Judge Judy" Bishop doing some of the Family Channel's VO's during that era.

ObGameShows: Didn't someone say it was a different Jerry Bishop that announced "Crosswits" and 25K Pyramid?

There are three things I've learned never to discuss with people: Religion, politics, and the proper wrapping of microphone cables.

For me... how about:

Pyramid 70's
Press Your Luck's pilot
Match Game 90
Win, Lose, or Draw
Tattletales 80's
The original WOF theme
Jeopardy 78-79 ending
Let's Make a Deal 80's
Name that Tune (Lange of course!)

I like 80's game show themes!!!!

These two are on The Best of TV Quiz and Game Show Themes (AKA the second GSN CD), available wherever CD's are sold [well, maybe not gas stations:)].
