Has anyone ever seen the 1989 version of the solve the puzzle cue anywhere?  I can't recall seeing that one anywhere lately.

Thanks,
Rich

[quote name=\'Vgmastr\' date=\'Nov 13 2004, 09:03 PM\']While we're all sharing WOF cues, here are some prize cues I have from that era.  Since I don't know much about this area, I'm not sure if these are really common or not.  They're Windows Media files, and all are around 1 minute each...

Do you have those in MP3 by any chance?

EDIT: I shouldn't be ungreatful, and I apologize. Thank you very much for all the music, everybody.

[quote name=\'KyleCHaight\' date=\'Nov 14 2004, 12:27 AM\']Those are some good files as well. :D Though, IIRC, "Cue #3" is part of "Strutting on Sunset" which is available at 80stvthemes. Still, good post as well. Thanks. :)

Does anyone else have any "Wheel of Fortune" cues to share with the class?

Actually, they were muffled like that when the show moved to CBS.  You can hear these same muffled Strutting on Sunset and Nightwalk cues on the Xmas episode from 1992.

The "big band" WOF theme was introduced in September 1994, was played by the Mort Lindsey Orchestra on Merv's New Year's Show that year, and still can be heard on some of the original Wheel Of Fortune slots (some have a new Steve Kaplan music chip).

Thanks for the musical flashback.
Does anyone know if the piece they commonly played for jewelry, fine china, etc. has a title?

According to my recently acquired file, it is "A Time For Tony".

No, and I've been looking for that damn show for years, to have a clean copy of that music. (I'm not about to put a cell phone up to a slot machine just yet.) I used to have it, but I can't find the tape anywhere. I believe the just-formed Brian Setzer Orchestra was also a part of the show that year. And I said to myself, "The guy from the Stray Cats has a BIG BAND? What will they think of next?" And, four years later, "Jump Jive An' Wail" hit it big... and the rest, as they say....

I have WOF 87, 89, and 92, New Hollywood Squares, Classic Concentration Beginning and end, Super Password end, PYL beginning and end, Double Dare (Nick) Beginning, Scrabble, TTD (Wink), and the audience shouting "WHEEL OF FORTUNE" at the beginning of the show from 87. I don't know how to post them so people can download them, so if someone can tell me how, I can post them if wanted.
