Did you know?

That there was a TV Trivia GS Pilot called, "TV Classics" in 1983, hosted by Alan Hale Jr., of Gilligan's Island Fame and announced by a young Rich Fields, which was his first try in GS Announcing?  If you don't believe me, look on Rich Fields' website www.richfields.tv and click on "TV Classics."

It's not that we don't believe you, so much as we don't really care. :)

If you actually go ant take a look at the picture, you'll see that this "pilot" was certainly not budgeted for any sort of national pickup.  I almost wonder if they did it in a public access studio.

I can just picture Alan doffing his hat and hitting the contestant after a wrong answer.
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

Is it just me, or in that picture, does Rich Fields bear a striking resemblance to Donny Osmond?

I dare say yes...you gotta see this picture to believe it.
I suppose you can still learn stuff on TLC, though it would be more in the Goofus & Gallant sense, that is (don't do what these parents did)"- Travis Eberle, 2012
