Wow! Really nice job!

Here's something to try with cue 35: transpose the glock part up one octave and have the glock play it. Sounds kewl!

Note to self: install the sound card with better samples so the bones don't sound like toy trumpets.

I installed my Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound card and the instruments still sound like shee-ot. Is there a sound card with decent-sounding MIDI samples or is this par for the course with consumer-priced gear?

It's a shame, too, because so much Score Productions music makes fine use of trombones, and they sound like a toy trumpet on my sound hardware.

Have you tried just using QuickTime? I'm not sure if that's any better, but it's worth a shot.

Wow. I had no idea TB was still in business. That was certainly the way to go in this case, because for the longest time they were THE people to go to for MIDI stuff. It's a shame to hear their product has gone downhill.

What's intereresting is that on my SB Live, the trumpets are crap, the organ is crap, and the harp riffs in the background are phenomenal.

For some reason these sound cards seem to have a great deal of trouble with horns in general.

It's just a hard instrument to make sound organic through electronic means, I think.
