B&W on Widescreen?
« on: January 17, 2005, 03:15:07 AM »
In watching the B&W shows on my regular sized TV, sometimes it's like watching a Cinemascope movie in the wrong aspect ratio (everybody is tall and thin, etc.)  Do the shows look any better on a widescreen TV?
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

I watch WML, which I record on my DVR cable box each night, on my 50" TV, and the shows actually look worse because of the way GSN digitizes them. We don't distort the picture in any way, it's the same aspect ratio if we watched it on a regular TV.

HDTV's are wonderful things - for the right programming.
