Actually, It sounds more retro than it did before :-) very Palisades park-y.

Nonetheless, a nice update, IMHO.

Thanks Chris.  I liked that cue but man, that was screaming retro there with what sounded like a picoloe accompanying the flute there.  Very intresting.

Thanks everyone for checking it out.
The "update" on 32 does make it sound more retro doesn't it?  I guess that's just an added bonus that came along with trying to give it a new sound.

Here's another one.  I've listened to the result several times and i don't know if you could call it more retro, more updated, or just strange.  It gives the horn section something to "battle" with in the cue.  A flute maybe?  Tell me what you think.

Chris:

Nice job on both re-mixes. They do sound retro, the "Bhen" remix (Cue 32) especially, almost like something you'd hear off of a PBS rerun of Lawrence Welk. (And that's not a dis, that's a compliment.)

I'd love to hear more. Nice job! :D

Thanks again Chris.  I like that old ticket plug remix better than what I heard a few weeks ago.  Very intresting indeed.

I honestly don't know why, but I like your version of the "Bhen IUFB" cue more than the original!

Alright, alright.. so I have ONE more.  With friendly notes from all of you here and on AIM, I got encouraged to do one more spin on the "Bhen IUFB" cue.  It seemed to be the one everyone liked best.

This time it kinda started out twangy and goofy and I just said, what the hell... Let's go with it.  The middle is probably the most normal with a deeper flute and the end... well the end trails off into a squishy sound if you listen closely--someone said it kinda sounds like a duck.  How sad!  Well anyways... enjoy the latest spin!

P.S. I'm thinking of putting up a page on my site in the future to try out "re-takes" on other cues rather than posting on here.  If you have any requests, let me know!
