Cool! Let the speculation begin for those of us on cable. "What will our cable company fill the channel space with???"

Wouldn't this be more likely to affect their original programming than their reruns, though :) Granted, not many will be upset if STYD gets a third axing.

I don't think this means a whole lot.  They're probably getting rid of high-priced folks who don't have a lot to do.  Shouldn't affect the reruns you see on PAX.
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

I don't know, Jimmy....The very beginning of the article says "signaling the potential end of the struggling seventh broadcast network".

That story contains speculation and editorializing which used to be contrary to journalism standards. Change is not always good.

Any network that would pre-empt one of its own shows (Balderdash) on the DirecTV *national feed* for an infomercial deserves to go down in flames.

For us Dish Network folks, that's easy...more shopping, bingo, or something else totally unnecessary.

It's funny, our DirecTV has not only the national feed, which preempts On the Cover and Balderdash, but has the local feed, which ironically DOES air OTC and BD.

Not like it matters anyway. I hope the production companies take into consideration of finding another network to pitch their shows...

...hopefully we won't see STYD on GSN anytime soon.

FWIW, looks like they're hanging onto some of their game shows a little longer...Today, our local PAX affiliate has begun to air Balderdash reruns -- today was the first aired week from August with Tammy Pascatelli, Jimmy Pardo & Eric Roberts.

It would be interesting what happens if & when PAX takes the dive...Our local Cleveland PAX affiliate uses the channel to fill a void for the Akron/Canton news market.

When Paxson bought out the former ABC Akron affiliate and turned it into "all infomercials - all the time", it virtually wiped out the local TV news outlet for Akron & Canton.  And it took a while for the Cleveland stations to regularly acknowledge Akron-Canton happenings.
