That Bill Carruthers himself was the Whammy's voice?

It may be a credible source, but I would still assume that Steve Holland was the Whammy's voice.
There are three things I've learned never to discuss with people: Religion, politics, and the proper wrapping of microphone cables.

I always thought the same thing. The Whammy's voice does get deeper in the later animations, so obviously there was a change in voice actor. I do know Bill Kopp took over the reigns when Savage Steve Holland left to direct "Better Off Dead", so it's possible that Carruthers himself did the voice acting, although Carruthers' voice seemed pretty hoarse. OK, I am thinking WAY too much about this. ;)

According to someone who worked the show, it was indeed Bill Carruthers.
