Are they really trying to limit how many get in the category?  I remember a few years ago for example when you would have seen the above three shows along with Wheel and H2 for example...

I'll bet that if Jeopardy! &/or Alex Trebek wins, they'll thank Ken Jennings!

That explains everything. They didn't throw you in a pool to see if you could swim, did they?

Wanna bet that Prof. Steve is gonna say that Bill Cullen and Arlene Francis got ignored yet again? I, myself fear that if either the misters Martindale, Lange, and Eubanks do get honored, it will be non-televised. Then again, I was sure Monty Hall would get it this year.

I did note one familiar name hiding in the drama series direction nominees - Joe Behar, who is up this year for a statue for "General Hospital", but who we know better as the longtime director of "Let's Make A Deal".

Mr. Behar is also a previous winner with another game show... he was best director one year for "Fun House".

Didn't he also direct THE ELECTRIC COMPANY for awhile (how many of us first knew Morgan "Easy Reader" Freeman)?

No fight with "WBSM" this season for an Emmy--it's Steve Dorfman's last nomination.  The other nominees are Ellen (including "Idiot Savants" host Greg Fitzimmons) and "The View."

"J!" and "TIPR" have six nominations, "WWTBAM" has four.  May 20 on CBS, 9 p.m. ET.  The untelevised Creative Arts ceremonies are on May 14.  The show's being produced again by dick clark productions, even if dick clark won't be there, unfortunately.

You mean that the folks at "Wheel of Fortune" were snubbed even with Sony's addition of a gazillion colors of light for this season!?!?  What's this world coming to!?!?
