Win. Lose or Draw Question
« on: July 30, 2003, 03:22:01 PM »
I was watching this show the other day and they indicated that it was taking place in Burt Convy's Living Room.   I thought it was a joke - since the set looks like a living room with the couchs and stuff - but to be able to get a studio audience into it - the lighting etc.  But the person I was watching it with - was certain that the show was really taking place in his house/living room.  Going so far as to know where the kitchen was and a bedroom etc.

I think I was having my leg pulled - but can anyone confirm or deny and put my mind at ease?

Thanks.

You right, it is a joke.  It's actually Burt Reynolds' living room.  Actually, set designer John Mula modeled the set after BR's living room, that's all.

The 1989-90 Robb Weller season of WLOD had some changes to possibly make it look less like Burt R.'s living room(Burt and Bert in that season had focused more of their energy on 3rd Degree, and leaving WLOD more in the hands of Kline and Friends than beforehand), I seem to recall a Swimming Pool in a window to the right of the set at least.
