OT:Another Iowa channel quiz-TV Themes

I'm sure we all remember the game show quiz on the "Iowa Channel" TV website a few days back..Well, I've been getting their daily quizzes by e-mail  ever since..(one can sign up for it)..They have a TV theme quiz where they provide the a few words from a theme and you have to guess what show it's from (multiple choice)..Out of pure luck I got 10/10 right..Couple of them I just guessed on.

8/10.

Some of those shows should find either a rerun home or DVD....Always liked "Eight is Enough".

ObGameShows: "8 Is Enough" (as displayed behind them)  was on one of the first (if not THE first) All-Star Family Feud specials on ABC.

Ditto w/ Aaron.

Missed the first two, primarily 'cause I've never watched an episode of either correct answer. Just a hint: Some of the choices don't have words....

9/10

Only missed one; only watched one ep of "Dukes" 'cause of the plot.

9/10.  Missed the second one.

There was a game show among the choices for one of the questions, too.

Why, was it too hard to follow?

8/10.  Missed "Seventh Heaven" (not familiar with it) and "Dukes" (and realized my mistake when I clicked on the wrong answer).

8/10...would've been a perfect score had I gone w/my first instincts on the Dukes and Kate & Allie.

70%(7/10) here.  I missed the "Mister Ed" one because its lyrics threw me off.  Missed the "Eight Is Enough" one because I haven't seen that many shows to understand the theme.  The "I Married Joan" one I missed is understandable because I never really heard of that show.  A couple I got right were lucky guesses.

ObGameShows:  J! featured a category devoted to TV Theme Songs on 4/29's ep.

Lousy 5/5. I guess I really don't pay enough attention to theme song lyrics. :-) I correctly guessed 7th Heaven's them when I realized the lyrics were perfectly cheesy enough to fit the nature of the show. :-)

One of the ones I missed was Kate and Allie, which I didn't even know had lyrics...except for the closing theme. I thought the opening theme was just a piano melody?

7/10 for me...although I only knew for sure that my answer was right for two or three of them.

Yeah, while Jane Curtin and Susan Saint James did their shot-on-location-no-laugh-track bit.  (Yes, I realize the show was otherwise shot with an audience at the Ed Sullivan.)

TV minuita buffs will also recall "Courtship of Eddie's Father" as beginning and ending with laughtrackless location bits with the stars (although it often sounded like Bill Bixby and Brandon Cruz's conversations were added in post-production).
