Sometimes he does, sometimes he doesn't

Over the past week-plus on syndicated FF on GSN (10am ET showing), we've seen a few lousy rounds on Fast Money.  Two such instances were so bad that the $5 a point combined with the front game score totalled less than $1,000.  On the former occasion, Richard crossed out the winnings on that big blue card and said he'd augment that total to $1,000, but when it happened again just a couple shows later, he didn't.

Discuss.

EDIT: The subheader should read "Minimum on Feud".

That instance was the only non-celeb instance of him augmenting a champion's score I can recall. He started giving losing families a $100 minimum c. 1981, and a $250 minimum c. 1983.
