Enjoy lots and lots of backstage TPIR photos and other fun stuff here. And yes, I did park in Syd Vinnedge's parking spot at CBS

5/17 is a Tuesday.  You mean the 21st?

Hope it's a mix of old and new.

It would be nice to see Allen Ludden, Bill Cullen and Tom Kennedy all hosting eps in one time chunk. Some eps I'd like to see would be the Debralee Scott flashing ep, France/French ep, the final ep, and throw in an ep with Gene Rayburn as a guest.

Speaking of Geno on PW+, we should be getting to that classic week where he was forced to share the same stage with the Winkster!

By golly, you're right.  In about three weeks (Friday's ep was 1/16/81, according to the matchgame.org episode guide which is now an expired account but gettable thanks to SimpsonGeek putting it on a webpage, which I shall now provide a link for).

This should be a treat but I personally haven't seen this episode before. Was it just like any other ep or was it kind of awkward to have 3 hosts of different shows on the same set?

I've only seen one ep of that week (I was in high school when the shows originally aired, and portable TVs weren't high on my must carry list at that point).  But the ep that GSN ran was a pretty funny ep in which Kennedy, Rayburn and Martindale had to vamp because of a pretty serious taping error (and I'll leave it at that).

So I really can't speak to whether it was "awkward."  I don't think game play was any better or worse than a typical week, but it's tough to judge just on the basis of one episode (and of course, YMMV).

If my math is right, the first ep of the Rayburn/Martindale week should air 5/26/05.

It really isn't that big of a deal. The only reason I hope they air it is because the incessant whining from the tapehounds will drive me insane if they don't.

Now that it's aired, does anyone else think that Rich Cronin looked like Will Ferrell?
