Combs Feud

On the Combs Feud, I remember two formats for their tournament. One of which was a simple three-game format with a top prize of $35,000, and one in which the top prize was a possible $110,000. Which one was which?

BTW, weren't the biggest Feud winners ever crowned in this tournament?

Channelling Horan...

The former format was a monthly tournament of champions on CBS; the latter was an annual ToC attached to syndie.

Your latter statement requires about as much thought as speculating whether the $100k Pyramid tourney winners finished at the top of that show's charts.

The syndie TofC aired three times per season IIRC from 1989-92. They stopped the tourneys by the time the Bullseye format took effect.
