WPXI aired Peck YDS, TTD(1978-79), and reruns of LMAD and TTTT(70s syndie versions) in 1978-79 on. They later aired Fun House, the 1988-89 Gong SHow, the last season of Marshall Squares(Vegas), $50K Pyramid, and the last year of Davidson Squares.

Zach, I've always wondered.....I know you know the GS's that aired on the Philly/NY stations (for obvious reasons!), how do you know so much about Pittsburgh's shows? That's on the other side of PA..

I wonder about that myself. TV Guide readings from there I guess.

Considering that Metromedia co-produced and syndicated "Cross-Wits," I would suspect that WNEW carried it for the entire run.

That is correct.  WNEW aired it at 8pm from Dec. 75 until late March of 80, when it moved to 12:30pm.  It's last airing in that slot was 9/19/80.  The predecessor in the 8pm slot was "Dealer's Choice," so Jack had a good five year run at 8pm on Channel 5.

I'll verify when I get home, but I do believe sister Metromedia station WTTG (5 from Washington DC) also carried Cross-Wits in prime-time as well.

Both channel 5's were one of the few independent stations I can remember that put actual programs on from 8pm-10pm (as compared to a movie, which a lot of independent stations aired during that time slot)

Does that mean that Fox is holding any surviving tapes?

They also had 2 short-lived 70s shows, Celebrity Charades and Make Me Laugh, during their brief runs in 1979.

There may be, but Ralph Edwards owns the rights for that series and God knows who owns the format now.
