Only included listings for NYC.  TTD would later join TJW on WCBS sometime between the date for these listings and fall 1983.  Match Game syndie reruns moved from WOR to WCBS after the show was cancelled.

MG syndie also started on WCBS in '79. WOR actually aired the last year of syndie MG from 1981-1982 as well.

Interesting...it seems that games went through a drought between 1981 and '83. Honestly, it seems that recent years (up to about last fall) showed a better number of shows, just none in daytime (except for Price). Proof that the game show genre is not dead like everyone thinks. 2005 is just a down year, a 1982 if you will. :-)

In fact, it was later that season that more game shows were added.  I do have two more editions of TV guide from that season, one from April 1983, one from August 1983, both of them NYC.  Quite a few changes took place within that one season.

By any chance, was Ch. 9 airing reruns of Pitfall at 12:30 AM on a sporadic basis? I've got a NYM TVG from early in the 82-83 TV season that lists it.
