Disney is still hurting from acquiring Fox Family about 5 years ago.

No thanks to Pat Robertson, who still insists that his "700 Club" is part of the schedule.

That's the main reason why Fox and Disney wasn't able to put anything on after midnight, opting for infomercials, instead. Viewers would change the channel when Pat comes on, never to return that evening.

On the next Celebrity Sweepstakes.....
Jim Mackrell: Which company will be the first to buy the rights To GSN? Let's take a look at the odds on this one..... wait... it looks like letters are showing up in the scratch sheet....

DISNEY                        N:O
PEPSI                           B:O
MICROSOFT                  D:Y
AT&T                            C:A
NBA                              R:E
COMEDY CENTRAL         S:!
   N:O        B:O            D:Y             C:A        R:E                  S:!

Well, I guess you know my stand on this, seeing as how nobody will ever buy GSN (at leas not within the next 10 years)

God Bless You, clemon79

If Disney bought GSN, what would you think they would change?

The images of the hosts would be deleted from all shows.  Mickey Mouse would be superimposed over all of them. *rolls eyes*

Don't forget me--I'm the one who saw the damn show.  Mike only presented the evidence that it was around.

And just out of curiosity, what made you think we'd like this one any better.

Thank God someone had the sense to take this in a different direction (although the thousand dollar bee mentions were...oh, never mind).
