Bravo's Celebrity Poker Showdown, a guilty pleasure for me and, from what I understand, some of you, will return for a new set of shows on August 18th.  USA TODAY reports that some of the stars this time around will be Rosie O'Donnell, Michael Vartan and Alex Trebek.  I haven't found a complete list of stars for this set, but Steven Culp (Rex of Desperate Housewives) said that he recently taped an episode along with other actors from that series.
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.
Stay tuned for all the obsessive-compulsive fun of Words Have Meanings.

Yup, count me among CPS viewers.  I wonder if Robert Thompson, the tournament director, will tell Alex he has to call/fold/raise in the form of a question.  :)

Seriously, thanks for the note.

They've been getting pretty big name people the past few seasons here.  Hopefully it keeps up.  By the way, for anyone that cares, they taped two seasons of it, so we should be getting 12 new episodes unless some format change was made, which I doubt.

Did Trebek ever host a show called "Wow, These Jokes Are Stupid?"

(My firstborn child if they can get Darryl Hammond (as Sean Connery, of course) at the same table as Alex. :))

Not by himself.  "Malcolm" co-hosted.

I hope for his sake that he doesn't lose his "Concentration".  But, "To Tell The Truth", I don't think he will.

And hopefully he won't do the "M'Ama Non M'Ama" scenario with the cards if he starts running outta chips. ;-)

Yeah yeah....blah blah blah......I've said it before that I don't give a damn if my jokes are funny......I also don't give a damn if they're not even attempts.

I'm not trying to start a fight with ya here.....but if you or anyone else have a problem with my so called "jokes", just put me on ignore and get it over with.

Apparently you do , since you keep trying to play the 'nyah nyah I don't care what you think' card.

You're not funny. It's the only consistent thing you've provided around here, right up there with Iris not making grammatical sense, Zach nitpicking every little bit of minutia, Witch being, well, witch, and so forth.

Great company you've got there.
