Why this has been racking my brain I do not know.
But this is the place to end the racking.
How did the credit card plug go on The Challengers?
Many thanks.

I believe it was something like "Contestants on The Challengers receive their winnings in a Citibank Visa account! Visa...it's everywhere you want to be!"

...at which point they dissolve to Dick, who says "Remember, our players can do anything they want with the balance in that account, including converting it to cash."

I'm sure someone who actually has an episode can give you the exact spiel. Or we could just ring up Don Morrow. :)

One from the undated Invitational Tournament went:

Don: Prizes awarded by Citibank Mastercard and Visa card, America's most widely-used credit cards. And now back to The Final Challenge, and here's Dick Clark.

No mention from Dick about how they may spend the money. I know that's probably not the one you're thinking of; I'll continue perusing my collection. ;)
