A GS governor?

Given the fun of the California recall, are there any game show personalities with a political bent who could launch a decent campaign for Governor?
1.) Bob Barker has been interested in PETA and has expereince as executive producer of TPIR and has negotiated with the Pearson people.
2.) Dick Clark and Monty Hall have both operated successful businesses.  Clark should have some kind of interest in the outcome of issues related to media ownership and internet music distribution given his work experience.
3.) Pat Sajak seems to demonstrate a political interest on occasion.  He has a not-strictly celebrity interview show on Fox.

Could these guys go for the gold?  Any others with political interests?

Also, Monty Hall was the mayor of Hollywood for several years during the run of LMaD.

That's an *honorary,* not elected position, since Hollywood is not its own town, but a part of Los Angeles.  The title was bestowed on him by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and mostly meant that he presided over the Walk of Fame induction ceremonies.  It has nothing to do with politics and Monty's too smart to get himself involved in something as hopeless as contemporary politics.

Yeah, but remember ... Monty also has experience as the mayor ... of \"Video Village\" in the early-60s.

 LOL!

As far as Barker, Sajak or Dick, none of them would want to take the massive pay cut!
