Now I haven't record the Family Feud series finale but I did see the finale episode many times and I'm watching it now but what was the very first time GSN ever aired this Family Feud series finale episode? and was it part of the Family Feud Fridays Vertivision block?

They aired the Dawson Feud ABC finale at least twice in recent years: during the Feud25 anniversary marathon in Summer 2001, and in 2003 on the late afternoon ABC Feud timeslot that began airing in May 2001. I don't recall if it aired on the primetime 2002 Vertivision or not(the 2003 daytime Feud Vertivision blocks had only 70s nighttime episodes in it)

It also aired on the "Wide World Of Games" finale the first weekend of October, 1997.

Was there more to Richard's speech? I think I saw on someone trade list that he had something like an 'unaired version.'

and let's not forget the airing during the Y2Play marathon. The whole ending was left intact during that airing.
Don't think too hard... you might give yourself a headache.

Yes, there was a little bit more that he said to the audience after the show went off the air.  It's available on the studio master copy of the show.

So has it been indoobitibly determined that the intended ABC finale never played over the American Broadcasting Company? Looks like to see it, it's had to be GSN or no place.
