What did the civilians win on the Junior Pyramid? Was it a trip somewhere, or was it still a cash prize?

Can somebody fill in the gaps for me concerning this rare Pyramid series?

I'm reasonably sure it was worth $2,500.

They did it twice in 1979.  I saw the second week, and the prizes were $1K for a win on the first try, $2.5K on the second and $5K on the third.

Worst. Prize structure. Ever.  If, as I think, they still had the $500 Big 7, you could win more in two unsuccessful trips than for a successful trip on the first try.
