1- The date has gone very well, but the audience majority does NOT vote for the particular person that the person went out with, and the person involved chooses to go out with the person the AUDIENCE MAJORITY chose (which under the rules, you CAN do, but I've NEVER seen it happen with \"good date\" scenarios).

2- Again, a date that went well, the person asks the other if they want to go out again, and they say \"no\".

I have to say the I love, Love Connection and Yes #1 did happen. I've watched it a few times and a date has gone well but chose the date the Majority of the Audience Liked..

It's happened before. The guy asked his date if she'd like to go on a second, but she told him she had just gotten engaged to be married (!). I haven't seen this in about 11 yrs. and have been looking on GSN for the ep. Has anyone seen what I'm talking about?

Yes, it has definitely happened. I want to say this was sometime between 1985-1988, but I remember watching and the date went very well and the audience picked the same guy that the woman went out with and when she asked him out again, he somewhat abruptly said no thank you. The woman looked absolutely heartbroken and Chuck seemed at a loss for words and didn't know what to tell her.
