Queen For A Day on DVD
« on: August 14, 2005, 07:34:12 PM »
I purchased it a week or so ago, on behalf of a member of my family who remembers watching it in first-run.

So far, I have only been able to watch the bonus footage and the first two episodes (I've had a busy week), but I've already managed to find two surprises.

Surprise #1: There are eight episodes on the set, not seven. (The eighth is at the end of the bonus footage.)

Surprise #2: One of the episodes survives on b/w videotape, instead of the expected kinescope.

So, does anyone else have this, or is anyone interested in discussing this?

I remember seeing it in it's waning days on ABC and I wouldn't mind seeing it again.  How expensive is the set?  I would also like to get the Candid Camera, This is Your Life and Funniest Home Videos sets but I've gotten too used to shopping for DVDs at the dollar store.
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.
