ABC has announced what some have been clamoring for - a "Dancing With The Stars" dance-off between Kelly Monaco and John O'Hurley. The 90-minute special will air on September 20 with a half-hour results show on September 22.

There will be no scoring from judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Lenn Goodman and Bruno Tonioli - the at-home vote will decide everything.

Both stars are expected to pair up again with their previous partners - O'Hurley with Charlotte Jorgensen, and Monaco with Alex Mazo.

(And the subject line is correct - "DWTS" is produced at CBS.)

My colleagues and I were watching General Hospital on our breaks from work today, and Monaco's character was getting some dance lessons from another character.

Whooo, baby! Big lithmus test. They're likely going mano-a-womano against the Big Brother 6 finale on night 1 and Survivor on night 2. This will be interesting.

According to E! Online, the dancers who who paired with the rest of the celebrities will perform "demonstrations" as well.  Don't expect Holyfield this time, though.  BTW, does anyone here think Kelly won solely because of that "wardrobe malfunction" late in the competition?  (Kelly's fans have seen 'em before anyway.)
