New Lingo Host - Netherlands
« on: August 18, 2005, 03:23:01 PM »
IDtv announced today that Lucille Werner will be replacing Nance as the host of the Netherlands version of "Lingo" and that Lucille will be taping her first programs on Saturday (if my ability to read Dutch serves me correctly).

Lucille is the fourth host of "Lingo" in the Netherlands. Nance had been hosting the program since 2000; it was during her tenure that GSN set up shop in the Amsterdam studios where "Lingo" is taped to produce their first 20 episodes.

Hilversum, which is about an hour from Amsterdam by car, IIRC.  All Dutch radio and TV is centered in Hilversum--and the snarky out there would say that all of the C-list-and-lower celebs in that country are also centered there.
