It's a shame they spot you the T in the bonus round puzzle, 'cuz it would be funny as hell for someone to pick that as their three extra consonants. :)

I would personally DOUBLE the Malcolm Jackpot for anyone insane enough to throw away a WOF bonus round on that little stunt. :)

A contestat named Chad called for his letters in that order so his name would be on the screen...so you could be really dicey and do it like that...won't make tape, but hey, at least you tried.

More incredible would be to pick that combination and still get the puzzle.

That's terrific!  But I think it would only work if we juiced the stakes to something like $1,000,000.  And we'd need a veteran at the helm of the show.

Is Jim Lange available?
That's crazy talk.

Just throw some pink and blue squares on the board and you're set. Oh, and there are no stoppers in any of these puzzles--all the letters are good. The category is BAD PUN--go, Vanna.
Two other minor changes: the "house minimum" has increased from $500 to $1000 per round, and contestants who win nothing in the maingame are spotted $1000 instead of $500.

And one more change, that I'm surprised no one's mentioned yet. Woolery appears to have left the show, being replaced by a guy named Pat Sajak.

Along the same lines, remember that "Caesar's Challenge" episode where, during the second bonus round when the letters were scrambling, the letters "S-H-I-T" appeared consecutively in a word?  Got a bit of a chuckle from Ahmad.

And even though it's been disproven, there are still people who swear up and down that the Countdown letters once came up "W-A-N-K-M-E-O-F-F."

What do you mean, disproven? There's a picture! And if we see it on the internet, it must be true!

The intro is just...So horrid, words cannot begins to explain my hatred for it. Now if this was an alternate intro to the Simpsons, or Finders Keepers or something, understandable. But mixing a cheesy-ass cartoon with the hi-techiness of Wheel of Fortune? What were they thinking??!!

And is it just me, or are they editing spins less, thankfully?

I must be the only one who still thoroughly enjoys Wheel.  Because it's still Wheel of Fortune, Pat and Vanna are still there and to me the show still has the same charm. Screw the animations and stuff, just watch it for what it is oooorrrrrrrrrr change the channel :).
