[quote name=\'TimK2003\' date=\'Aug 31 2005, 07:05 AM\']Hey Randy,

Have you heard yet of any TPiL schedule changes or extensions to the current AC show since the Harrah's chain of casinos in the South are all out of commission for the foreseeable future?

I'm told that TPiR-Live will continue in AC until the spring of 2006! We move from the Showboat to the big showroom at Harrah's on or about November 1st for the rest of the Atlantic City run. There ARE plans for additional cities concurrent with that long run, but nothing I can announce yet. Remember, we have 3 complete sets for the show.

As far as Harrah's New Orleans and Biloxi venues, I bet they're still drying the $100 casino chips and not yet thinking about TPiR-Live. Keep the faith for us to eventually make it back to your area!

I'd go for that...I'm only about 3 hours from Joliet!

Well, it's great to hear that you're extended till May 2006.  This gives us a few more advance dates to schedule.

Any schedule updates as of today?  It seems our first date is indeed Sept.24th .

For those of you in the midwest, I wouldn't count on St. Charles, MO.  Harrah's St. Louis doesn't really have the space to accomodate something the size of TPIR Live.

Don't get me wrong, it would be cool, but it's not likely.  Then again, I'd love to be proven wrong by Randy West!

Thanks to the Invision and Golden-Road members who visited in the past few days. My liver is still processing this evening's/morning's libation. For those inquiring minds, J.D. Roberto is in town and starts as host of TPiR-Live on Sunday as Todd returns to LA to work on his "Made in the USA" for USA cable.

J.D. is a cool guy whom I know will bring his own fun style to the show during the next three weeks. I'm looking forward to working with him.

*** Killer debut for J.D.!

And day two wasn't bad for the Roberto/West team either. Roberto's TPIR live gig is a giant step up from the STYD gig(he says STYD will be back this Fall, I would assume with new episodes). Roberto probably was upstaged a bit by the announcer.

The lineup for 9/12 7PM:
Race Game(Globe Bar, Electric Scooter, Playstation, Foosball Table)-Scooter won.
Hole in One(Trip to Las Vegas)-Win on second putt, contestant got all six products in the correct order but did not get a bonus for doing so. JD did an inspiration putt from the first line but missed it.
Clock Game(Jewelry Armoire and Portable Sauna)-WIN in 20 seconds, but no bonus awarded for winning both prizes.
$250 awarded for the winner of the SCSD.
Cliff Hangers(Washer/Dryer)-Contestant didsn't know the tricks of the game, as she bid $100, and then finally settled on $80 for the first small prize, a $25 Remote Control Toy Car. LOSS
It's in the Bag($2400)-$600 won, and would have lost had the contestant went on for $1200.
Showcase: "Cool" prizes: Dinner at Showboat(Atlantic City) Casa Di Napoli Restaurant, Air Conditioner, Air Hockey Game, Refrigerator, Jeep Liberty. Showcase worth $24K and change, but no DSW tonight.

Clips were the same old clips we've seen for years(Pauline in Grand Game, $9K surfboard bid, Janice and the fridge, Hayloft Ethel, etc.), but a few lesser seen clips: Holly with appliance door-closing problems in Safe Crackers, and a few unusual "come on downs" from the 90s.

J.D. will continue for at least 2 more weeks at the Showboat. The host line-up for October is yet to be made public.

I've shuffled my schedule to include a quick 4 day round-trip to LA for October 2nd/3rd committments there, and will then accommodate Fremantle's offer for me to continue with TPiR-Live in Atlantic City through October 31st. The show will then go dark for approximately 1 week during our move to the Harrah's Hotel and Casino starting early in November.

Umm..let me get this right. Someone got all 6 items right, putted from the front line, and still needed two putts? Daaaaaaaaamn.

I mean, I know a lot of people don't play golf, but if you sneeze the right way, the ball can get blown in from that distance. Oh well...at least she won it. At least, I assume it's a she. Or a really drunk man. That could happen......

Great to hear you're staying in AC a little while.

It was a distinct pleasure meeting you and Todd at the recent live show. Robair and I had the time of our lives at the show!

My aunt who accompanied me last month actually went to see J.D.'s first show and said he did a pretty good job (though she preferred Marc's hosting).  I should be making another trek up there in a few weeks.  What's the password to get the free drinks after the late show again?

And based on the above posting, is Las Vegas the only American city that gives out free alcoholic drinks to their casino patrons?
