Steve Beverly reports GSN will dig this marathon out of the moth balls.

I guess it's better than nothing.
Enjoy lots and lots of backstage TPIR photos and other fun stuff here. And yes, I did park in Syd Vinnedge's parking spot at CBS

Yeah, I asked and got it on my website too.  Honestly, the only thing that semi-interests me is Body Language because of how long it's been away, but it's Christmas, so no.

I think the whole thing is surprise out of left field. I would have though 'Amazing Race' has a lock on marathons now.

Is this a new marathon or something from the past?  I remember the 12 Games of Christmas, but don't remember this one.  Sounds like a good one to me!

This is a new one.  Read SB's column--that'll help answer your question.

I guess I can check SB's page when I get home.  I hit a firewall at work because his site is considered gambling.  Sounds great thought!

Lineup:
12:00: What's My Line?
12:30: Password
1:00: Tattletales
1:30: Match Game
2:00: Password Plus
2:30: To Tell the Truth
3:00: Family Feud
3:30: Body Language
4:00: $100,000 Pyramid
4:30: Match Game

When and Wherefore:
MG's could feasilbly be from any of the runs GSN has, WML is from 1955 (the only year given at any point in the bit about the marathon), Password is from early on in the Nighttime run, assumedly...All that was stated about Password Plus is that it was from before Allen's death - whether that means it'll be an episode from the Ludden run prior to illness sidelining Allen in 1980, or a Kennedy-era episode from 80-81 is unclear from the article.

No info given on the timeframe for Tattletales, To Tell the Truth, or Body Language, though TTTT will probably be the 1990 version, given the fact that it's the one GSN's currently running, and she appeared with high frequency therein.

*Please Note: TTTT version is an inferrance based on the things mentioned following the word given, and is subject to...well...being wrong.

Not to be the pessimist, but I'd think BL and TT would be the same ones they played in the past Xmas marathon.
There are three things I've learned never to discuss with people: Religion, politics, and the proper wrapping of microphone cables.

Normally I'm of the opinion that IT departments that filter Web access based on stupid crap like this need a swift kick to the crotch, but anyplace who filters out the Perfesser is doing their employees a service.

I was questioning those 2 shows myself.  I didn't remember seeing Betty on Body Language, and sure don't remember her and Allen on Tattletales.

You'd be amazed and what is blocked, but that is another topic in itself.

Clearly, if they're idiotic enough to think the Perfesser's site has something to do with gambling and therefore you shouldn't be able to see it, I doubt I would be, but the fact that their draconian policies happen to hit the Perfesser too is still fortunate happenstance. :)

Some fishing around for the episodes that aired for BL and TT in 00/01 produced:
BL: ALL STAR WEEK: Lucille Ball, Robert Morse, Isabel Sanford and Richard Simmons
TT:  Grant Goodeve, Bill Daily & Lynn Redgrave...others (If Betty had been in the episode, it would have been listed

Given the theme, I doubt that it'll be the same shows

The copyright date on that episode is 1983. The only way Allen participated is if a seance was held.
