Flipping around the channels last night, I happened upon a program on Fox Sports Net called "Helmets Off:Out of Their League," a show that followed NFL players as they pursue their other dreams, and I saw something that might interest the group.
A certain NFL player who's interested in becoming a game show host had a "day in the life experience" shadowing Wheel of Fortune's Pat Sajak. I only saw a part of the segment, but it looked like the guy was being a pretty good student. Pat kept giving him pointers throughout the show, between segments and such. I didn't see the player actually host any puzzles, but he was very eager to learn the job.
The player? Quarterback Kurt Warner.
