CHICOREE!!!!! It's been 39 years since NBC turned the ORIGINAL Hollywood Squares loose on an unsuspecting public of game show viewers. But it did happen on this day, October 17, 1966.
Happy 39th anniversary to the "Master of the Squares" and his gang of zinger-toting celebs; those that are still with us (Rose, Abby, Karen, Charo, John Davidson, Robert Fuller, and others too numerous to mention) and those that have departed from this world (Paul, Charlie, Wally, George, Vincent, and others also too numerous to mention).
