TPIR announcer mp3 that was floating around...
« on: October 08, 2005, 01:59:35 PM »
Hey guys...Josh Yawn here.  Long time no speak.  Just narrowly avoided Hurricane Rita and am still evacuated...temporarily living in Houston until my home is done being refreshed.  In any case, I was thinking about something today.  Wasn't there an mp3 floating around the net at some point that had samples of all of the TPIR subannouncers?

Randy was one of the the only ones I perked up enough to listen to, and as of late I've been searching for that file just out of curiousity.  If anyone knows where I could find that, if you could kindly point me in that direction it would be much appreciated.  Thanks!

Josh

I didn't know if direct linking to files were allowed. I know it's not music, but to be safe.

artsanders.mp3

Enjoy lots and lots of backstage TPIR photos and other fun stuff here. And yes, I did park in Syd Vinnedge's parking spot at CBS

This was the first chance I heard to hear Paul Boland's work on TPIR..... and someone must've been loaded on Pep Pills. But honestly, from the one file I heard, I suprisingly liked it. (Send me to the TTD90/CS01 room now, I know)
Were there any specific reasons why Paul wasn't invited to do an audition?

Basically, during his fill-in for Rod, he was told to tone it down.

He said someone at Fremantle said he could announce his way and that's the way he was going to do it.

One of our mods said that if Boland had told Frank Wayne that same thing, he'd prolly be walking w/a limp right now. :-D
