So help me, if I come across *ANY* fan fiction......
"I just wanna give a shoutout to my homies in their late-30s who are watching this on Paramount+ right now, cause they couldn't stay up late enough to watch it live!"

Now celebrating his 21st season on GSF!

First of all, great new site!

And I know I will be disliked for this....

But what happened to the New Chain Reaction, I actually liked that show. Never seen the Cullen version, I grew up with Geoff's version.

It...was...cancelled...though the name of the replacement show doesn't come to me--I don't recall any originals on the USA lineup around '91.

I meant the page for it. Sorry, I didn't emphasize that.

USA Chain Reaction was replaced on 12/30/91 by reruns of TJW90.

I have a feeling Adam didn't get it up yet.

Believe me, that's never a problem.

At the moment, there's no Chain Reaction page because I don't have an episode with good enough VQ to do screengrabs. I'll get around to it when I un-suspend trading in three weeks or so (and NOT BEFORE THEN...I will forever be awestruck and humbled at the number of trade requests I've received in the past six months with a "trading is suspended" notice right on the link.)

In the meantime, thank y'all for the nice words. Still trying to fix a few things here and there with the help of Seth "#2" Thrasher, but all and all, I'm delighted that you're delighted.

I just read through it. Very good work. I never had heard why it was that (The New) Treasure Hunt had only women as contestants.

I believe you have GSW's position on appropriate gender of game show contestants/winners completely reversed. This can only be a good thing.

First off, I don't like that insult of labeling GSWich as executive producer of Treasure Hunt.  I'm surprised you didn't mention the Wicked Witch of the West (JM!).

To answer Robert Hutchinson's question.  In Maxene Fabe's TV Game Shows book, it mentioned why The New Treasure Hunt was for female contestants only.  "The staff deemed it easier to assemble the props for one sex & women do make better contestants.  It wasn't discrimination, it was logistic."

The confetti & balloons along with the shrilled sirens, made it why TH got the title of The Wicked Witch of the East of game shows!
