Hey everyone,

GAS made a pretty big schedule change this week, getting rid of the following game  shows:
Global GUTS
Super Sloppy Double Dare

That's it for the shows that someone here may care about.  This means, that no more Marc Summers versions of Double Dare are seen on the network what so ever.  Here's the new schedule:

6:00AM-Legends of the Hidden Temple
6:30AM-Legends of the Hidden Temple
7:00AM-Double Dare 2000
7:30AM-Double Dare 2000
8:00AM-Figure It Out

11:00AM-Figure It Out
11:30AM-Figure It Out
12:00PM-Nickelodeon GUTS
12:30PM-Nickelodeon GUTS

9:00PM-Nickelodeon GUTS
9:30PM-Nickelodeon GUTS
10:00PM-Legends of the Hidden Temple
10:30PM-Legends of the Hidden Temple
11:00PM-Figure It Out

3:30AM-Get the Picture
4:00AM-Nick Arcade

Besides the middle of the night, it's just the same 5 shows repeating the entire day.
Wonderful.

Wow...and I didn't notice Think Fast (Michael Carrington and Skip Lackey shows) was already off the schedule, too.

Well, I'm not surprised about this change, as I heard rumors that they would be soon getting rid of GaS sometime next year. I guess MTV's to blame since GaS is part of their "MTV Networks".

Well actually, both Think Fast and Make the Grade have been off GaS's schedule for over a year now.

I'm not too sure on this....I DID see the regular Pumping GAS in the 3P EST slot.
There are three things I've learned never to discuss with people: Religion, politics, and the proper wrapping of microphone cables.

So let's see...they could conciveably get thru the entire run of DD2000 in less than 2 weeks.

That's what I get when my mom cancels digital cable for DIRECTV.  (GaS isn't found there.)

I'm not sure if this starts next week but according to tv.yahoo.com, the schedule already started.

Someone else told me they saw Pumping GAS on tonight, so catch your Toffler Finders Keepers and your Super Sloppy Double Dare when you still can!

Well, that sucks!! Looks like I won't be watching that channel anymore. This schedule has to start next week because I saw Pumping GAS and both SSDD & Global GUTS aired. However, the schedule on Comcast says that this schedule is already in effect.

With no original or outside-acquired programming to speak of and nothing new in the chosen genres coming from the mother ship (not even new reality comps, of which Nick is showing admirable restraint in not doing), I wouldn't be surprised if GAS is nearing its end.

And if Comcast would be kind enough to replace that slot on my cable with the NHL Network, I will not mourn the loss for a second. :)

Personally, I'd rather they replace it with Boomerang (not to diss the NHL Network, mind you).

Of course, this comes from a company that gives two slots for G4 (yes, I know G4 and TTV were two separate channels that merged, but instead of getting rid of one of the two slots they kept 'em on two) and the three FCS regionals.

My thoughts exactly. The few cartoons available "On Demand" aren't enough.

NHL Network would be good too. Other than the lack of Boomerang, there are no other channels I'd want to have.

I really didn't have too high of hopes for this channel when I realized that they were playing the same episodes over and over on the pre-taped morning block, Wild Card, and family night segments. It showed me that they didn't want to put too much time into it.

The GSN equivalent of said channel would be nice...something w/a sched resembling the latter's in 96-97, and maybe some Dark Period stuff mixed in, complete w/unobstructed closing fee plugs and credits...might be overly optimistic here, but I can dream, can't I? :-)

It might work if Sony/Trinity had a strong cable station that they could force operators to air GSN and GSN2....but I am not aware of any major cable properties that either one owns.
